FAQ

I want to join you on the mat! How do I get the link to zoom?
Once we’ve gotten in touch with each other, I will send you a link to the next Pilates mat session via email the evening before class. Payment is your means of reserving your spot and receiving the link.
How do I pay you for a session?
The most convenient and quickest way is Venmo or PayPal. I can also take a check if you do not have either of those forms of payment.
How much are zoom sessions on the mat?
Pilates mat sessions on zoom are $30 a week for 3 classes or $15 for a single class. Most Client’s pay by month or by the quarter to secure their spot in class.
Do I need any special equipment for Pilates mat sessions?
No, you can do all the Pilates exercises without any equipment or props other than a soft surface like a mat. We do use props during class which you may purchase or be creative and use items at home as suggested below.

We use props during the mat sessions to facilitate movement or to challenge and sculpt your muscles. You can use the props suggested or use household items also noted. Props include light weights 2 – 3 lbs, (you can start with soup cans or water bottles if you don’t have weights) an 8 foot theraband with handles tied at the ends,(an old pair of leggings will do in a pinch) a Pilates ball (or pillow), a small massage ball (a tennis or racquet ball as an alternative) and a small band (the leggings tied into a small loop.) I can send you an Amazon link to all the equipment or for $35+ shipping I can put a package together for you and send it directly to you with the exception of the weights.

I’ve never done Pilates. Will class be too difficult for me?
Not at all! You and I will talk prior to your first class and will discuss some of the basics of Pilates. If you think you need an introductory session or two, we can arrange that. However, I do a great job of communicating with all my Clients during class to help you move through the session with ease. I use clear cueing, comfortable pacing and progressions to move multi-level Clients through class. Whether you are a beginner or have a lot of Pilates experience, my online classes will lengthen, strengthen and make you feel good in your body!
I want to come into the studio to work with you on the equipment. How do I do that?
If you are nearby and new to Pilates, we will schedule an appointment to have you come in for an introductory session. At that point we will either schedule privates or semi privates depending on your needs and goals.
I’m interested in semi privates. Do you arrange that for me or do I need to bring a friend?
By all means, working out with friends is fun so if you have someone in mind bring them in! Just have them call, text or email me with their information. I can also pair you up with someone from the studio that is similar to you in experience level.
I can’t wait to start! When can I begin?
You can start as soon as I hear from you via email, phone or text. Just let me know you are ready to begin!
